Coleman Quad Lantern — The Gadgeteer

The Quad Lantern consists of four panels with six 5mm white LEDs per panel. We went camping a few times when I was a kid, and I remember my dad lighting up his Coleman kerosene lantern with the little fabric mantle.   She would have been much happier if my dad had owned one of these Coleman Quad Lanterns.   The panels are charged by the base, and each panel can detach from the base to be used as a personal light.   You can get the Quad Lantern directly from Coleman for $69.   Or attach all four to the base and use the master switch to turn them all on for 190 lumens of lighting power – enough to light up about 26 feet.
