Other than that the lights perform flawlessly and will work even if the sky has been partly cloudy the day before. I have found the lights to be in an inexpensive plastic case. We have been experiencing cloudy weather lately and the lights still work properly. LED’s in general, still have a long way to go before replacing CFL and traditional light bulbs. Time will tell if it holds up, but it is every light. To be honest, I didn’t have high hopes for this light. However, this light is quite bright for its size. Judging from my past experience with other solar units, the case may not be able to take full summer sun. The solar collector must be very sensitive if that is the correct word, due to the performance of the battery charge. Overall I am very happy with the unit, with the exception of the case. I am not sure how well the plastic case will hold up since this is the first (winter) season we have had it in use. I suggest that the unit be mounted in a location that is shaded from direct summer sun.
