Please help me with suggestions on decorating a charming kitchen? I delineate on moving soon. The kitchen is very charming, probably eclectic. It is L-shaped with appliances furnished. The refrigerator is like-new. The stove is vintage from the 1960s ( a 36"). A hood and dissipate system are also included. What impressed me most was the walk-in pantry, complete with shelves. The pantry also has a chagrined casement window. The floors are black and cream tile. The cookhouse walls are painted a light yellow, which I don' t care for. The pantry walls are Caucasoid.
I fantasize you can do more with some color and decoration. I like the sound earth or dried sage brown comeuppance. Maybe Painted vine decoration around open cupboard to remove the focus. what accessories can i add to my room to make it look like its from europe in the 1800s, like in vanity fair? alright, so i dont hankering a really outdated look, but i love the neoclassical manner of paintings and the pastels mixed with dark, rich purples and blues. im prospering to mix that style with victorian and vintage styles..
i already have light blue walls.. it isnt paradigm, but im not going to change them.. so ill just make it work. i have some superlative old paintings, wood floors, i already have a victorian style bed spread, and picture. im thinking of getting some drapes and old world accessories, also some old wonderful furnishings if i can. the most important part is that i want it to look european, again, like the rooms from the flicks vanity fair. i could make neoclassical style paintings, and i would like to characterize my walls in that style, with faded tea-stained color walls with neoclassical design scenery painted on the walls.. but that would probably be too expensive for me. anyways, i would admire any suggestions. thank you a canopy would do genuine or just a little drapey one if you have tall bed posts.
perhaps some olden stylle, impudence candle sticks on your dresser/night stand. obtuse lighting (thats what i think of when you say 1800) perhaps a little coffee register, wooden, and have a metal tea kettle on it and workings like that. you could get no more than expensive LOOKING picture frames. just put acknowledged pictures in it would probably be okay, or perhaps put something over them, like tissue journal? to make them look darker in hues and not so bright and modern. |
